Summary: The ongoing tales of a zombie fighter and her hapless sidekick.
"I'm left footed."
She stared at him, blinked, then blinked again.
"I beg your pardon?"
"I'm left-footed. I kick with my left foot," he said with a shrug.
"How can you be left-footed?"
"I imagine it's like being left-handed." He scratched behind his ear and said musingly, "Probably genetic or something. I never thought to ask my parents if either of them were left-footed."
"Can't imagine how it would have slipped your mind," she said dryly.
He glared her reproachfully. "Just because most people--"
"And by 'most people', of course, you mean everyone but you," she interrupted.
"Just because most people," he continued gamely on, "are right-footed does not make me weird."
"By the very definition of weird, yes, yes, it does." She paused as a thought occurred to her. "Driving a standard must be a bitch."
"Yes."
"Just another reason I am never letting you drive my car."
They drove in silence for a moment longer, then she muttered beneath her breath. "I still can't believe you missed kicking the stake towards me."
He sighed impatiently. "I said I was sorry for that, okay?"
