"Werewolves, I thought," she said thoughtfully, not bothering to look up from her gun. She held it up in the light, peering through the barrel before giving a short nod and lovingly placing it beside her.
"Why do you even have these, is what I want to know," her friend said, flipping through one of them.
She looked up at him seriously. "When the zombies come, and I save your ass because I know how to kill them with ordinary rock salt, I'll be expecting an apology."
He stared at her quietly for a moment while she went back to cleaning her shotgun. "What worries me is the way you say this, like you expect it to happen."
"And this is why when the great zombie revolution comes, I will survive," she snorted. "Not expecting it. Amateur."
